Love at first sight??

The way two people meet is the very beginning of either a new budding romance or the way people begin not liking each other at all, on some level.

The way Casey and I met is, what I think, very romantic and meant to be. Let me tell you why.

It was May 2009. I don't remember the exact day, but it was my cousin Emily's wedding day. She was marrying her fiancé Drew. Casey was one of the groomsmen. I saw him and instantly was attracted. As all groomsmen do, he was escorting the guests down the aisle to there seats. I was walking up to have him walk me and my friend down, but my friend went in front of me. =( So he walked her first. I DID NOT want anyone else to walking me, so I very obviously turned around until he got back to the door and then I came back up. Everyone noticed. Like I said, I was completely obvious about it. It wasn't on purpose though. He ended up walking me and I could not look at him, but I had the biggest grin on my face. I don't think I caught much of the actual wedding ceremony because I was so focused on that gorgeous guy standing four guys to the right.

(this was one of the earliest pictures he ever sent me)

Once the wedding was over, the guest were to go to the reception hall. We got there and were hanging out and I was leaning against the bar and he walked in. He said I had a very nice butt. =) Of course I was talking to my new cousin, Drew, about him and he said that I should go talk to him and was making it obvious. He was like pushing me toward him and all that jazz. All very noticeable.  Drew said he was 19. I was 16 at that time. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and I didn't get to dance with him. I probably wouldn't have anyway because I wouldn't of had the guts to ask and he doesn't like to dance. I told my cousin that he could give him my number IF he asked for it. My family and I preceded to leave.

(this was the dress I was wearing when we met)
This was actually just a few weeks before I met my future.

I didn't think anything of him after that wedding because I didn't think I would ever hear from him or see him again. In August I even started dating a guy named, Alex Plavjanich. That lasted till November. Two weeks after we broke up, I got a call from a strange number. I answered and said hello. The voice on the phone said, " do you remember that guy you thought was really hot at Drews wedding?" At that point my mouth hit the floor, I was so speechless and excited. So I said, "yes." That is where it all started. We started talking on the phone every day and texting. We went on our first date, which was to my indoor soccer game. It wasn't really a date, but a "nice to finally meet you." From there, we went on date after date. =)
This was our first summer together. He took me to places I have always wanted to go. He took me to the County Fair!! I never really went to the county fair as a teenager and I think I only went once or twice as a kid. This was and still is one of the things I look forward to every year.
We were inseparable, our love was like a happy country song. Not one where the dog dies and the tractor brakes. He always accompanied me to my homecomings and Junior-Senior banquets.
One of the things I love about our relationship is we have been there for each other through a lot of life moments. He was there to see me graduate high school. ( we started dating half way through my junior year of high school)
We always had fun no matter what we did. Its those special moments where we would play in the biggest water puddle ever during a huge thunder storm. He has opened my eyes to new experiences and he has taught me to do new things I would never have done in a million years.
Like working on cars, I never knew anything about them ever and then he taught me so much. I can now say I know how to change brakes, rotors, tires, and the list goes on and on.
Another thing that we have in common is our religion. That was something that was very important to me when finding someone to date. My family has always told me, "if your going to date a guy, make sure he is worth marrying. There is no need to date a bunch of randomes." Or something like that. We are both Baptists and this was us after church one morning. =)
We didn't like ever being a part for a long period of time, so it was very hard on us when I moved four hours away to go to college. This was his first visit to me and it was long overdue. We were actually fighting and the next morning he called me at like 8 a.m. and to come outside. He drove four hours in the middle of the night to surprise me. I love him!!

Our relationship got very serious very fast and he even bought me a puppy!! This is Brutis. ( I have a post dedicated to him and sasha.)
This picture was actually taken when were engaged and we were on our way to meet with our wedding cake designer. The cake was sooo good, but she did sloppy work so I wont recommend her.
My husband is very into MMA so we sometimes we go to Buffalo Wild Wings on Friday and Saturday nights to watch the fight and have some drinks and wings. YUUM!

I love this man more than anything and he has opened my eyes to so many new and exciting things. He has been very supportive in everything I want to do. He has taught me to slow down and enjoy things. He also helps me cope with my anger, I have band anger problems and he has slowing and steadily endured them and helped me turn them around and to be better. He is my everything and I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
Honey, I love you so much and thank you for everything you do for me and all the things you don't like to do but still do anyway for me. Your a one of a kind.

Moms Big Birthday!!!

Today was my beautiful mothers birthday!! She turned 41 and definitely does NOT look it. The whole family went to dinner at Bone Heads BBQ. Super delicious. Casey and I had a hard time getting there because we weren't exactly sure where it was, we had the general idea. We were on the right road, but going the wrong direction. Like 20 minutes the wrong direction! hahaha!

But here are some of the pictures from our fun day! =)

I love my mom more than anything. She had me at 20 and she has done a wonderful job raising me. She taught me so much and I could never thank her enough. It wasn't easy having me so young and she sacrificed a lot for me. I will always be grateful.

RIP kitty cat

So my beloved kitty had to be put down today. :( he was only a year old. Verdict is he must have gotten into something. I rescued him late last summer as just a pipsqueak. He was laying in the middle of the road, just laying there. My husband and I stopped and picked him up. I had no intention of keeping him then, I was just going to show my mother in law then put him back. I couldn't do that though. He needed me. So I put him up in a cozy bed in our barn and he grew into a gorgeous brindle and white beauty. He didn't seem like he was doing to well last night, he was having a hard time breathing. Today my husband called me and said that he had to be put down so he wouldn't suffer.
He loved going places with me.

He would just lay by my feet during car rides.

He was always so excited to see me when I got home. As soon as I would get out of my car he would come running up to me and walk in between my legs. He followed me everywhere. Even when I would get in my car to leave he would follow me out to the road so I would have to get out and put him in the barn. Or when I took the dogs for a walk he would trail behind us.

Kitty kitty you will always a special place in my heart. I'm sad to see you go, but I'm glad your no longer suffering and in pain.

Love your momma!!

Happy anniversary!!

Yesterday, 06/04/2013, was my second year anniversary being married to the most amazing, surprising, loving man I know. When you plan on getting married, you envision how you want everything to turn out and how your life will be a perfect fairy tale. Sometime that doesn't happen like the movies, but your life is still a fairy tale when you have your Prince Charming. (Prince Eric in my case, The Little Mermaid was always my favorite)

Last year I wanted to go away for the weekend. Take a camping trip, go to cedar point...anything. We ended up not doing anything for our one year, that really upset me because it was such a milestone and our first year was horribly tough. So I was going to make sure we went somewhere this year.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen either because of financial constrains. I already had it in my mind that this year would be just as sad as last year. Especially since I had to work all day. It surely started out crappy. I had a hard day at work, got some bad news, and got off late. I didn't get home till 9:15pm. But my husband met me at the gate and gave me a big hug and kiss and led me inside.

It was just the thing I needed. He had made dinner and set it on the table. He bought me flowers and chocolate covered strawberries. He even got my favorite sparkling white grape juice.

Even though we didn't go to the quaint B&B I wanted us to go to, this was more than perfect. Especially after a hard days work and not expecting to get anything but dinner.

I love my husband for so many reasons and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him.

Honey Moon!!

Unfortunately, I have zero pictures of my honeymoon. We didn't go anywhere really pretty though. We just went to the sand dunes. We went during the week so it wasn't busy at all. Of course, nothing fun and exciting was open either. We rented a dune buggy and took it out on the dunes and zipped around. Casey enjoyed driving that more than I did. I preferred to ride shotgun. Then we rented a boat, which to me I think was the best part of the entire trip. I had never driven a boat before, but it was so easy to get the hang of.  The boat also came with a tube. There is a whole story behind that.

My husband wanted to go tubing. So we hooked the tube up to the back of the boat and Casey got on it. Then he said I took off like a bat out of hell. I didn't think I was going that fast, but he was flying up a few feet in the air. He says I was going like 70 mph. I honestly can't remember how fast I was going, but then I took a curve and he went flying.

Then I had to circle back around and pick him up. I chose not to ride the tube because the water was freezing. We weren't even able to go swimming because it was so cold.

Other than that we didn't do much, the one other thing we did was go look at the light house. However, walking on the beach with the love of my life at sunset was probably the best moment of the entire trip. Just being with him was.

I am currently trying to plan our "re-due" honeymoon. I want to take a cruise through the Caribbean and I will take a million pictures.
